SARA HUNSICKER, PA -C

Sara is a Board Certified Physician Assistant whose goal is to provide excellent patient-centered, evidence-based care to patients throughout their lives and changing circumstances, with an emphasis on working together to create individualized treatment plans for best outcomes. She graduated from Clarkson University in upstate NY with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and has since worked in urgent care, the emergency department, and family practice. She is a former Colorado State University (Fort Collins) graduate with a B.S. in Nutrition, as well as a US Air Force veteran. She grew up mostly in Grand Junction, CO and moved to Colorado Springs 2 years ago to be closer to family. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, rollerblading, and just about any outdoor activity.

TONIA HOWARD, NP

Tonia is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing personalized, compassionate care to every patient. She began her nursing journey at Methodist University in North Carolina, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and immediately stepped into the fast-paced world of critical care. After several years in the ICU, she pursued her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) through Chamberlain University, building on her clinical expertise and academic foundation.
Tonia brings a unique perspective to healthcare, shaped by her 14 years of government service as an intelligence analyst. Outside of her clinical work, she’s deeply committed to her community, frequently volunteering at local events and cherishing time spent with her family. Now based in Colorado Springs, Tonia is excited to connect with patients and support their individual health journeys.

Dr. Komatineni is a board certified Neurologist (American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology) who treats patients 12 and older for a variety of neurological conditions. The founder and director of Northstar Neurology, Dr. Komatineni grew up in southeast India where she earned her medical degree. She moved to the United States at the age of 23. She then finished her residency at Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She moved to Colorado Springs in 2011 and has had the privilege of serving the community since then.
